TOUR HISTORIC FORT FREMONT
Travel back in time to the 1890s and the Spanish American War
Every 4th Saturday of the month beginning Saturday, January 23
Docent-led tours start at 10:30 AM at the St. Helena Branch Beaufort County Public Library
Learn the history, see a scale model of Fort Fremont as it stood in 1898, and travel down Landís End Road to walk through the remains of the fortifications.

The Mission of the Friends of Fort Fremont

The mission of the Friends of Fort Fremont is to preserve and promote Fort Fremont as an educational, historical, natural, and cultural resource of the Spanish-American War era on the shores of historic Port Royal Sound in Beaufort, South Carolina.

The Friends of Fort Fremont Historical Park is incorporated as a 501(c)3 charitable organization to raise funds and awareness for the continuance and improvement of the Preserve.
